Cari Foote obtained her MA in Counseling Psychology at Lesley University, Cambridge, MA in 1989 and her professional counseling license in 1992. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Licensed Marriage Family Therapist Supervisor and a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and EMDR Certified.
Ms. Foote’s clinical experience includes a solid foundation in mental health treatment of children, adolescents and adults, abuse assessments, family intervention and court recommendations; consultation and training of medical professionals in psychosocial issues and directing domestic violence and sexual assault services. She frequently testifies as an expert witness in child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault cases.
Ms. Foote specializes in individual treatment of children, adolescents and adults with issues of trauma, anxiety, depression, general mental health, abuse, domestic violence, pregnancy and postpartum issues. She is a full member of EMDR International Association and has attended many advanced EMDR trainings and consulted with internationally acclaimed EMDR professionals.
Ms. Foote is originally from Kansas but has long-term family ties to the Hill Country. She has been in private practice in Marble Falls since 2005 and added a second practice in Rockwall in 2015.
