Amber Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lubbock Christian University.
She has been working in the field of social services and mental health for over 12 years. This has included the StarCare MHMR Specialty, the foster care system, and at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. She has treated clients for an array of mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and bipolar disorder. She also has experience working with athletes who are needing assistance in overcoming any mental roadblocks that affect game day performance. Her personal experience as a starter all four years of collegiate D2 soccer gives her particular insight to this work. Amber specializes in child therapy, trauma and is EMDR trained through the Parnell Institute.
