Amber is a mental health therapist and has her bachelor and master degrees in social work. She is trained in CBT, CBT for Psychosis, Trauma Focused CBT, Nurturing Parenting, Mindfulness and therapeutic play techniques. She specializes in working with children, adolescents and families as well as adults who are effected by substance use. She has experience in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, trauma, ADHD, behavioral issues, guilt and shame issues, anger issues and substance abuse issues. She has worked with people in multiple settings including teaching pre-k, mentoring children and adolescents with behavioral issues and as a counselor at a residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment facility.
